J U S T A M O M E N T.

Today, David and I went to visit the Sorenson family before I left on my mission. As we were driving home, one of our favorite bands (the weepies) came onto David's iPod, and it was my personal favorite song. David grabbed my hand, turned the music up, and we drove in silence listening to the music.

Woke up and wished that I was dead
With an aching in my head
I lay motionless in bed
I thought of you and where you'd gone
and let the world spin madly on

Everything that I said I'd do
Like make the world brand new
And take the time for you
I just got lost and slept right through the dawn
And the world spins madly on

I let the day go by
I always say goodbye
I watch the stars from my window sill
The whole world is moving and I'm standing still

Woke up and wished that I was dead
With an aching in my head
I lay motionless in bed
The night is here and the day is gone
And the world spins madly on

I thought of you and where you'd gone
And the world spins madly on.

In that moment, I had so many thoughts run through my head, and how this moment would be one of the last times I would see David until I returned.
I felt so good, but scared, and happy, and nervous, and.... calm. Because right then, I didn't have to worry about leaving, or packing, or seeing a million people; all I had to worry focus on was the music, and the fact that I was there with one of my best friends - and all that anxiety I had felt was gone, and I was with David, and happy.

It was a good moment.
